Combining a premium boutique Bed and Breakfast with a magnificent three tiered country wedding venue The Gallery is truly a hidden “Country Gem”. Our rental includes the exclusive use of three magnificent venues which dovetail together to create the perfect wedding day. The Ceremony, Reception and After Party are all interconnected spaces – each space holding it’s own majestic look and feel creating multiple wonderful experiences for your family and loved ones throughout your special day. The Pavilion is a majestic open-sided venue with beautiful mosaiced pillars and chandeliers offering panoramic views of The FarSide Farm. The open-truss roof has clear sides and quintessential rafters interspersed with skylights. Our Nguni Cattle herd roam in-front of The Pavilion, creating a memorable arrival for guests. This venue is typically used for Ceremonies. Alongside The Pavilion is The Piazza. This is a fully walled Tuscan-style open courtyard. This is a co-operative of local women who are now teaching the younger generation their crafts. They crochet high quality bath mats and placemats which are available at Nguni & Aloe and the Earth Route Market. The Midlands Meander Association was created some 36 years ago on a foundation of arts and crafts and we continue to find hidden talent within the region. In 2014, the Emerging Artist/Crafter Project began with the first three previously disadvantaged artists and crafters and was funded by the N3 Toll Concession. The project has since grown to include eight Emerging Artists and Crafters representing 40 families within the KZN Midlands Meander boundaries. An Info Centre and Gallery to display and sell their products was opened at the Mandela Capture Site which used to see between 15 and 20 tourist buses visiting the site on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, this was forced to close its doors in December 2020 due to the pandemic, lock down, no international visitors and decreased numbers to the Mandela Capture Site. Our Emerging Artists and Crafters work is now available at one of our Midlands Meander Association member establishments, Lions River Trading Post.

Senzakahle is a textile and clothing manufacturer operating from Bruntville. They use high quality fabrics to produce high quality products. Their product range includes linen, curtaining, fleece products and various items of clothing. The heart of the Midlands Meander has always been its artists and crafters, since its founding nearly 37 years ago. The vision of the Association is to increase the number and diversity of its artists and crafters by providing opportunities for previously disadvantaged artists and crafters to join the Meander family. Funded by N3 Toll Concession, this project has been operational since 2014 and has featured 25 artists and crafters which represent over 70 families! During Covid, N3TC funded food cards from Greendale Spar for R1 000 each for 2 months to every family represented in the Project in 2020 thereby assisting over 40 families during this pandemic. Thank you, N3TC! The current participants of the project consist of 6 co-operatives catering to over 50 families in the region. We encourage all our visitors and locals to support these projects by either ordering directly from these members or visiting Lions River Trading or Nguni & Aloe to seeat what is available for purchase.
