MUSIC IN THE PARK
Be prepared for a brand new musical experience in the Midlands!
Sunday, the 10th March, is a musical day not to be missed by the entire family. ; grandparents, grandkids and everyone in-between.
The concert will be held in the grounds of Drakondale Girls Choir School on the D796, the old Red Acres Retreat in Merrivale. Follow the signs from Geekie Road, opposite Merrivale Spar.
The day kicks off at 11am, with an amazing choral concert in the auditorium. This will include the Drakondale Girls Choir, Pietermaritzburg Amateur Music Society, and the choirs of Voortrekker , Grace College and Carter High. All under the skillful baton of Botes Gresse, and accompanied by Matthew Hoffman.
From there, the festival moves down onto the beautiful lawns with an incredible line-up of musicians including Ard Matthews, Jack Mantis, Dave Knowles, Jessica Martins, Don Clarke, Alma Flamenca (dance troup) and TreeManChi (DJ).
Craft and food stalls will also be on site and the concert should be finished by sunset.
