The Edwardian Manor has five oversized luxury en-suite bedrooms, all exquisitely themed for guests to enjoy the unique character of each.  Set in the beautifully manicured gardens are a further 24 en-suite garden suites which are more suitable for larger groups or families.

Every meal feels like an occasion when served in the Calderwood Hall dining room. It is a spacious, elegant room with five-metre high steel pressed ceilings, built-in dresser, huge fireplace, exquisite mural, yellowwood floors and large sash windows that overlook the gardens.  Dinner, table d’hote, is available by arrangement. You can look forward to tasty food, beautifully presented and a quiet, no fuss, management style.

Our drawing room is tastefully decorated and you can soothe away tensions as you relax in the calm ambience or enjoy a crackling log fire on winter days.

Our Guest House is surrounded by expansive gardens with lovely little walkways, ornamental fountains, dams, and forests. And for the kiddies, they can enjoy feeding and interacting with our families of Chickens, Rabbits, Ducks and Koi, all in a very safe environment. Relax in our beautiful country gardens. Enjoy the abundant birdlife.

We host special interest groups, such as retreats and arts and crafts workshops, and are a popular accommodation choice for events such as Man & Machine and the Midmar Mile.

We are nestled in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg mountains near the tiny little Hamlet of Boston in the KwaZulu-Natal  Midlands. All within an hour’s drive, on tar roads, we have Midmar Dam, Howick Falls, Fishing, Trails, Walks, Golfing, and Paragliding for the more adventurous to enjoy.
