Copperleigh Trout Cottages

Copperleigh Trout Cottages is located in the upper Dargle area of the beautiful Midlands of KZN, under the shadow of the majestic iNhlosane Mountain.
Our fully functioning sheep, goat & cattle farm will delight both young and old with the scenic views and fantastic fly fishing opportunities on our 10ha trout stocked Mavela Dam.

Our establishment has two lovely self catering units to choose from: the two-story Lodge is a stunning  holiday home built overlooking the dam. It features an open-plan lounge with fireplace, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen for larger groups. There are three bedrooms upstairs which can sleep up to 9, and there are 2.5 bathrooms.

The romantic log Cabin is built right on the waters edge of the dam. It is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway to the countryside, and features luxuries such as a heated towel rail, electric blanket on the queen size bed and a fully equipped kitchen complete with modern appliances. The spacious verandah also gives you the best view over the dam as well as the stunning sunsets!

Activities on the family owned farm include kayaking, nature walks, fantastic birding opportunities, fly fishing and interacting with the farm animals.
