Millgate Cottage

Set in the scenic Midlands countryside, surrounded by attractive gardens, Millgate Cottage offers comfortable fully equipped self-catering accommodation. With seven diverse units we can accommodate couples to larger families, and pets are allowed on request. Millgate is an ideal setting for guests seeking to get away from it all, scenic walks, ample birdlife and other wildlife abound. With close proximity to a number of well-known wedding venues, Millgate offers ample overflow accommodation for guests and family.

Also close by are a variety of eateries, cheese makers, breweries, nurseries and crafters. Horse riding facilities are also available within easy reach.

The Crafty Mole is our cozy onsite pub and locally brewed craft beers are our specialty. the Mole’s hearty pub menu ranges from burgers to eisbeins, all-day breakfasts and freshly baked pastries and breads. With a pool table, dart board and our 9 hole putt-putt course a social night or day out is on the cards. The Crafty Mole is open from Wednesday night through to Sunday evening.

The Glass Studio offers a range of slumped glass artifacts crafted onsite made from recycled glass and an exciting array of stained glass items from a local crafter. Personalised sandblasted glassware can be arranged and quoted for onsite. Also available a range of child-friendly locally built wooden toys, quilts, clothing and other knick-knacks.

The Millgate art gallery hosts a range of art featuring local artists and crafters.

Millgate all Natural Water, drawn from an underground stream, 60 meters below the surface, is SANAS approved laboratory tested to SABS standards and is available for sale in our gift shop.
